The Special Olympics law enforcement torch run made its way through the Farmington Valley Thursday.
Canton and Avon officers were part of a Route from Watertown to Hartford .
The three-day run, which includes several legs or routes, concludes Friday at the opening of the 2013 Special Olympics Summer Games at Southern Connecticut State University.
The event raises funds through merchandise sales and sponsorships. This year businesses and individuals could sponsor a mile or several. Find out more at http://www.soct.org/torch/
