Smokin' Spokes Bar & Grill on Route 44 opened its doors Friday evening.
"We're just glad to be open," co-owner Kris Hall said after a week of last-minute details. Norm Johnson is the other owner.
The restaurant is at 192 Albany Turnpike (Route 44) Canton.
Initially the restaurant will be open 7 days a week - 11:30 a.m. to 1 am Sunday through Thursday and 11:30 a.m. to 2 am Friday and Saturday.
The restaurant portion of the establishment will stop serving food at 9:30 p.m. but some food will be offered at the bar until close, Hall said.
Hall said the menu will start small and expand. Choices include grinders, pizzas, salad, burgers, and more. Smoked meats will be a specialty and offered on many menu items, including pizzas.
