Lobsterfest Continues Saturday, Sunday

The Canton Volunteer Fire Company’s 33rd annual Lobsterfest continues Saturday with lobster dinners, a craft fair, live music and more.

"We've got a craft fair, a great live band and great weather," said organization president Corey Russo. "We welcome everyone to come down."

The event takes place at the fire station on Canton Springs Road. Saturday hours are from from noon to 9:30 p.m. Flipper Dave and friends will entertain Saturday night.

On Sunday, Aug. 18 Lobsterfest runs from noon to 4 p.m. (or sold out).

For $18, patrons get lobster, corn, New England clam chowder and a beverage.

A craft fair will take place in the field from noon to 4 pm.

Patrons who don't opt for the $18 lobster dinner can purchase hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, ice cream and beer.

Flipper Dave and friends will entertain Saturday night.

The Canton Volunteer Fire Company, based on Canton Springs Road, is an independent association that supports the town of Canton Volunteer Fire and EMS Department.

Funds from the event are used for various purchases of fire equipment or accessories.
