Jamming At Downright On Friday Night

To celebrate the end of the second week of jam camp, a group of young musicians dubbed The Lunakai's played in front of DownRight Music and Art in Collinsville Friday evening.

"They're ripping," Andrew Decker, co-owner and band leader, said before the show. "We're doing songs from Clapton to daft punk."

The music lasted about an hour. It was one of at least five live music events in Collinsville Friday evening. Others were at Bridge Street Live, the Crown and Hammer, The Flea Circus and LaSalle Market and Deli.

The store, located at 100A Main St., Collinsville, is holding one more camp in August. Call (860) 693-6530 for details.
