Gallery of Trees Runs Through Dec. 15

More than 70 trees decorated for Canton Historical Museum's 5th annual display.

Canton Historical Museum’s 5th Annual Gallery of Trees runs through Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013. 

Local businesses and residents have decorated some 70 trees. Visitors to the museum can buy $1 tickets and enter the "teacup auction" for a chance to take one or more of the trees home for the holidays and support the museum building fund in the process. Those who wish to view or bid on trees do not need to pay the normal admission fee. 

The museum currently operates 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily for the holidays and will be stay open until 9 p.m. on Dec. 13 as part of the Christmas in Collinsville festivities.

The drawing will be at 4:15 p.m. Dec. 15. 

The museum is at 11 Front St. in Collinsville.
