Scott Slifka, the youngest and most tenured person to serve as Mayor of West Hartford spoke enthusiastically and candidly with CTVV’s Susan Regan about a Town that has historically been known for its superior educational system.  But W.H.’s attraction is more than that……A quality of life, a security haven, a leadership example to CT’s 169 towns, a solid fiscal template, a visionary in town planning via a steady hand on the wheel and eye on the ball has been achieved success through good business practice and an awareness of its residents’ needs and desires.  An excellent rapport with adjacent cities and towns has contributed to fostering “good neighbor” relationships.

Mayor Slifka has sustained W.H’s valued way of life through the turbulent recessionary times that our Nation has experienced and hopes that in sharing his comments that it “can be done”.
