Bird Walk

On Saturday morning, Oct. 1, Roaring Brook Nature Center will offer a morning bird walk at the height of the fall migration season from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Bring binoculars and dress for wet ground underfoot as we wander through the woodlands and fields of Werner’s Woods in search of warblers, tanagers, sparrows and other birds that are making their way to their wintering grounds to our south.  The walk is geared for all levels of birding expertise, but is not suitable for very young children.

The cost of the program is $3 for nonmembers.  Pre-registration is not required. Call the Center at (860) 693-0263 for additional information.
