Collinsville Historic District Honors Work Done at Wilson's Pub

2013 Building Improvement Award Announced

Submitted release

Each year the Collinsville Historic District Commission gives an award for outstanding improvement in a building within the district.  This year’s award goes to Wilson’s Pub at 3 River Street in the form of a plaque which hangs in the hallway at the Town Hall.  The plaque is awarded to Gregory and Harriet Boyko and Kevin and Esther Witkos, owners, for excellence in total building renovation while retaining the building’s historic character.

The building has a long history in Collinsville and has had many owners and businesses as well as a residence on the upper floors.  The most recent owner was the late Bill Wilson who ran the Fireplace and after whom the Pub is named.
