Canton In Photos: West Point Band's Jazz Knights at CHS

The United States Army West Point Band's Jazz Knights played a special performance at Canton High School Wednesday night. 

In addition members of the band conducted an hour-long clinic with the Canton High School Jazz Ensemble, which opened the 'Concert Celebrating Canton." 

Thomas A. Scavone, K-12 Music Department Chair and Director of Instrumental Music, said for students and the community to hear and learn from these top professionals was a "once in a lifetime" experience.

"They're absolutely top professionals in the field," he said. "It was absolutely wonderful." 

The show was sponsored by Mark Channon, Thursday morning jazz host on 91.3 WWUH, The Valley Press, Canton Public Schools and Canton Parents for Music.
