State Rep. Tim LeGeyt Hosts Former Colleagues at State Capitol

CANTON- State Rep. Tim LeGeyt (R-17) hosted former colleagues from Cherry Brook School in Canton at the State Capitol. 

“It was an absolute treat to be able to host my colleagues on their visit to the State Capitol,” said Rep. LeGeyt.

LeGeyt, a retired teacher who also taught at Cherry Brook School, joined the group as they toured the Legislative Office Building and the State Capitol. 

“I’ve had the pleasure of teaching with many in this group for over twenty years.  I enjoyed speaking with them and sharing my experiences as a state legislator.  As Ranking Member of the Higher Education Committee, and also serving on the Education Committee, I am fortunate to be able to draw from my experiences as a teacher and work in the General Assembly to improve quality education for all of our students in Connecticut,” said Rep. LeGeyt.
