September Canton Real Estate Sales

Single family home sales fell back from the high teens of the June, July, August period to only eleven.  However sales during the past twelve months were 23.5% higher than in the previous twelve months.

In a similar year to year comparison the median sales price fell .5%, while the median price per square foot dropped 1%.  Not much change in this category.

However, homes sold 14% faster this year from the prior year.

As interest rates increase, your monthly budget buys less and less.  The number of Canton homes on the market keeps increasing, so if you are thinking about moving, now is a good time to act.

The statistics in this post are based on those reported to the CT Multiple Listing Service, Inc.
