Rolling Hills 5K+Run/Walk

Avon –The 3rd Annual St. Matthew Rolling Hills 5K+ Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, July 12th, 2014. The course is an up-and-down paved path through the neighborhoods of Avon. The Rolling Hills 5K+ is a family and pet friendly event with ample watering stations for people and pups alike! All are invited, both two legged and four! Trophies will be awarded to overall finishers, first group to finish, and first pet to finish! There will also be medals awarded to the top three finishers the following age categories: U-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-80 & 80+. This year's race will include group registration at a discounted rate, a "First Pet to Finish" trophy, and kid's games on premises during the Run/Walk event.  Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the 5K starts at 9:00 a.m. Rain or shine.  Online registration is available now on St. Matthew Lutheran Church’s website www.stmatthewavon.org   Even if you’re not a runner or walker the Rolling Hills 5k+ is a wonderful opportunity for you, your family, and your pet to meet new people in the community! For more information, contact Pastor Daniel Hille 860-673-3301
