Rep. Tim LeGeyt Talks With Local Residents During Office Hours

AVON/CANTON- As part of continuing bi-monthly “Office Hour” events, State Rep. Tim LeGeyt (R-17) met and spoke with residents of Avon and Canton throughout the month of October.

On October 21st at McDonald’s, 220 Albany Tpke., Canton, and on October 29th at Bruegger’s Bagels, 45 East Main St., Avon, Rep. LeGeyt listened to the concerns of residents on state issues and local concerns.

Residents expressed their concerns regarding what they felt were the state of affairs in Connecticut, and the resulting downtrodden economy.  Some inquiry on small business startup was also a topic of conversation.

‘I appreciate the time that people took out of their mornings to come and speak with me about what concerns them,’ said LeGeyt.  ‘It is important that I provide my constituents with an opportunity to share their personal concerns about what is at issue here in our district.  It’s the contact that I have with my constituents that helps me to be their voice in Hartford.’

LeGeyt will continue to host monthly Office Hours in November throughout Avon and Canton.  Further details to be released.
