Duct Tape Creativity: Teen Zone Crafters To Make Fringe, Flower Pens at Canton Public Library

Don’t have time to “stop and smell the roses” because you’re swamped with schoolwork? You’ll carry your own rose with you after you build this duct tape flower on a pen during a crafting hour of fun. Still won’t get to smell it—it’s duct tape after all—but you will smile while you write! Another popular idea: make the pen craft as a gift! In addition to the duct tape flower pens, a duct tape fringe pen may be chosen for the creative type who might be too macho for flowers.

Since the program is scheduled for after school on Wednesday, January 22, from 3:00-4:00 PM, teens may take their usual mode of transportation (on foot for many who go to Canton schools) to the library for the hour-long activity. Materials, instructions and examples will be provided, although the library requests those interested register with them so enough craft supplies will be obtained and prepared in advance. The program is free although participants need to be at least 10 years old. Canton Public Library is at 40 Dyer Avenue in Canton.
