Canton Valley Dental Reaches out to the Community

Canton- On Friday, February 7th Dr. Tracey Keefe and Dr. Matthew Keefe, of Canton Valley Dental, volunteered their time to provide free dental services to children in need as part of national “Give Kids a Smile Day.”

Canton Valley Dental spread the word earlier this year to neighboring school districts and surrounding charitable organizations such as the Canton/Avon Food banks and “Gifts of Love,” that they would be participating in this event.  This gave families an opportunity to call and schedule their children for an appointment. They treated children between the ages of 2 to 20 years old from the Farmington Valley Community.  Care as basic as routine cleanings, or as extensive as extractions, fillings, or root canals were performed.

Each year, approximately 450,000 children nationwide benefit from the charitable event, and Canton Valley Dental can proudly say that their efforts have made each child’s smile they treated a little bit brighter.
