The Canton Historical Museum will host its second annual Oktoberfest on Friday, October 4, from 6-9:30 p.m. in front of the museum. Beers on tap will include selections from Hooker Brewery, among others. The Canton Lions Club will once again sell bratwurst, sauerkraut and other German food. Live music will be provided by Jr. Krauss & the Shakes and Lazy Katherine. The rain date will be Saturday, October 5.
Mugs are on sale now for $15 (cash only) at Bahre's Wine & Spirits and Wine & Liquor Warehouse. Last year’s even attracted more than 300 people, and the Museum is only selling 400 mugs for this year’s event. Once they are gone the event will be sold out, so don’t miss out! If any mugs are still available, they will be $20 at the door on the night of the event.
The mugs are your ticket for admission and include one free drink ticket. Additional tickets for beer and wine will be $3. This event is twenty-one and older only.
