Canton Connections thanks Flatbread, Business Donors and Community

The Board, staff and students of Canton Connections wish to thank The Flatbread Company, located in The Shoppes at Farmington Valley, for generously hosting a Benefit Night held on Tuesday, September 24th, and all those who attended.  A portion of all pizza sales that night went to the Canton Connections program.  Canton Connections is an affordable, non-profit after school program "where fun and learning meet", providing a safe and welcoming environment for children in grades 1 - 3.  Canton Connections fosters self-reliance, emotional growth, social adjustment, educational advancement and physical well-being.

In addition, we would like to thank the many gift basket donors, individuals and businesses alike, who contributed to our silent auction that evening.  The baskets were creative and wonderful, allowing additional funds to be raised.  Donors included Barnes & Noble; The Cake Gypsy; Canton Indoor Golf Center/Glow Cove Miniature Golf; America the Beautiful Country Store; Collinsville Canoe and Kayak; Village Sweet Shoppe; many contributors from North Canton United Methodist Church; Canton Community Baptist Church; Deneen Lockwood, Focus on Canton; Lily Hyde and Dana Nelson, co-presidents of CATA (Canton Adolescents Taking Action) Canton High School.

Again, a heartfelt thank you to Flatbread and its staff, our many gift basket donors and the local community members who showed great support and enjoyed the evening with us.
