Braves win Canton Little League Championship!

The Canton Braves won the 2013 championship for the second consecutive year.
In his last start of his final year, Alex Sullivan pitched a no hitter after only walking the lead off batter to start the game. The Braves beat the Angels 7-1 behind Alex's 13 strikeouts and some timely hitting.
Throughout the year the team was lead by Alex and other 12 year old's Leo Ronan, Gavin Wood, Jake Lyons with clutch hits, solid pitching and fielding.
Returning players, Chris Tenczar and Grant Lange also made huge contributions helping the Braves to a 11-3 regular season record after finishing 9-6 in the 2012 season.
Newcomers Jeremy Welcome, Nathan "Little Billy" Lincoln, Donovan Makin, Justin Defina, James Szpekman and Brandon Leclair came through with big offensive and defensive plays throughout the year and in the tournament to help the Braves to a very special season.
Congratulations Braves and good luck chasing the 3-peat!
