On October 16, 2012, four volunteers from Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. volunteered their time to beautify the exterior of FOCUS Center for Autism. Darlene Maniago, Darlene Borré, and Dan and Debbie Devin raked leaves, cleaned windows, and planted flowers, catching the eye of many FOCUS clients. “One of our kids has been watching you work,” Carol Doiron, Director of Educational Services, told the volunteers. “He’s been very interested in what you’ve been doing!” As they left, they got a resounding “Thank you” from both clients and staff; who are very grateful for their service.
