On Saturday, June 4, the grounds of Cherry Brook Primary School will be alive with the sounds of children and families as they host their Annual Children’s Fair.
According to Cherry Brook Primary Principal Andy Robbin, “Each year the Children’s Fair is a special event. It’s fantastic to see the children and their families interacting, playing games and celebrating together.”
There will be several new games this year including a hula-hoop contest, toilet paper toss and a Dunk Booth; where children will have the chance to dunk some of Cherry Brook’s most popular staff members.
Principal Andy Robbin will once again be livening up the festivities with his band, The Substitutes. They will be playing outside this year so that all can enjoy their music while eating and participating in fair activities.
Old favorites such as the Cake Walk, Crafts, Face painting, the Fun Run and the Chain Biter bike race will also be returning this year.
Hot dogs and hamburgers hot off the grill, drinks and ice cream will all available for purchase. Outdoor seating will also be available.
Robbin continued, “This year has even more special ties as it is our 50th anniversary. It’s amazing to reflect on how many families and people are connected to the Children’s Fair and Cherry Brook Primary School. We are so fortunate to be a part of this community.”
The Cherry Brook Primary Children’s Fair will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to the public. Admission and parking are free. Tickets are required for the games and activities and will be available for purchase at the entrance. Only cash will be accepted for food purchases. All fair proceeds will benefit the Cherry Brook Primary School PTO.
