The Canton League of Women Voters will host a Candidates’ Night from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Tues. Oct. 18 at the Canton High School Auditorium, 79 Simonds Ave.
Members of the audience will be able to submit questions that they would like to ask of candidates for town offices. A moderator will pose selected questions to candidates for First Selectman, Board of Selectmen, Board of Finance and Board of Education
The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization of men and women, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
