AARP Taxes Aide

The Canton Senior and Social Services is looking for an AARP Taxes Aide. This is a Volunteer position. Having this person will enable the town to continue this service which is great for older and younger folks on fixed incomes, as well as our low income families in town. The time commitment is once a week starting February 3, 2014 through April 10, 2015, between the hours of 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. The only requirements are the person must have a computer background and the willingness to attend the AARP training. If you are interested, please call 860.693.5811, at your earliest conveniences. Our office oversees all programming within and associated with the Senior Center, while administering all federal and state programs and assisting in the application and follow-up process for all resources made available to clients.
