A Tree Hearing, Uses for Stone, Rickie Lee Jones, BOE and Blood Pressure Must be Rising
Good morning Canton. Today is Tuesday, Oct. 8 and here are a few things to know.
1. At 10 a.m. Tuesday the town tree warden will host a hearing on the proposed removal of two locust trees in Collinsville. The issue has stirred up a little debate in town. See details here.
2. In news potentially related to No. 1 Free Blood Pressure Screenings are available today at the Town Hall at 11 a.m. and Canton Community Center at 11:30 a.m.
3. Tuesday evening Gordon Hayward presents "The Uses of Stone in the Garden" at 7 p.m. at the Canton Public Library.
4. Rickie Lee Jones comes to Bridge Street Live Tuesday night.
5. The Board of Education meets at 7 p.m.. AGENDA
