A Canton woman was charged with operating under the influence Thursday after a pedestrian was struck by a car at 1:05 a.m., according to New Britain Police. New Britain police said Kimberly Tyrseck, 23, of Portland,  was crossing Paul J Manafort Drive near Central Connecticut State University when she was struck by a Volkswagen Jetta driven by Jessica Parr, 23, of 128 Torrington Ave., Canton.
