Superintendent of Schools Kevin D. Case is slated to present his proposed 2012-2013 schools spending package to the Board of Education tonight, Feb. 21. 

The special meeting will take place at 6 p.m. in Room F. of the Community Center. 

On Feb. 28, the Board of Education will host three budget presentations and hold a public hearing on it during its regular meeting at 7 p.m. The board is expected to vote on a plan March 6 and submit its proposal to the Board of Finance March 12.

On Wednesday, Feb. 22, the Board of Selectmen is expected to vote on its proposed budget, which is also due to the finance board March 12.

The selectmen and school board will make presentations to the Board of Finance, which will also hold a public hearing on the budget plans before it passes a final proposal to voters.
