Project graduation Fundraiser

Where/When: DISH 'n Dat, 110 Albany Turnpike (Shoppes at Farmington Valley), through March 24, 4 to 10 p.m. 

Why Go:  For all diners who present a coupon to their server at DISH 'n Dat restaurant during the evenings of March 23 and 24, the restaurant will donate 15 percent of their meal bills toward the Canton High School Class of 2011 Substance-Free Graduation Party.

"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”

Where, WhenCanton High School, 76 Simonds Ave, Collinsville, CT 06019, Friday, March 25th, and Saturday, 26th, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 27th, at 2:00 p.m.   

Why go: Canton High School (Canton, CT) is proud to present Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as its spring musical.

Pricing: $8 for students and seniors and $12 for adults, and can be purchased by calling (860) 693-7707 or at the door before the performances.


Spaghetti Dinner at St. Mary's School to Benefit Logan Schoenhardt

    Where, when: St. Mary's School, 946 Hopmeadow St, Simsbury, March 26, 2011, 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

    Why go? Boy Scout Troop 175 in Simsbury is having a spaghetti dinner to benefit Logan Schoenhardt, a young boy fighting cancer.

    Mary Poppins Movie Showing

    Where, WhenCanton Public Library, 40 Dyer Ave, Collinsville, March 27, 2011, 2:00pm

    Why go? The Canton Public Library is having a showing of "Mary Poppins" on its big screen with free popcorn for everyone.

    Canton/Burlington Youth Football & Cheer Free Speed Clinic

    Where, When: Courtside Sports Center 517 Burlington Rd, Harwinton, March 28, 2011, 6:00pm–8:00pm

    Why go? A free football speed clinic, sponsored by Canton/Burlington Youth Football & Cheer, will focus on the fundamentals of good running form. Coaches and professional trainer will teach football-related running and speed mechanics to area youth ages 7-14. Go to www.cantonburlingtonfootball.com to register and get more information.
